About the role

Job Summary

The Research Development & Partnerships Officer will play a key role in supporting the University of Toronto's research community by facilitating partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance research partnerships.
  • Identify funding opportunities and assist researchers in proposal development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Organize workshops and events to promote research initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • A graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of the research landscape and funding mechanisms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in research administration or development.
  • Familiarity with the University of Toronto's research priorities.
  • Knowledge of grant writing and proposal submission processes.
