About the role

The Director of Technology Delivery is a highly experienced leader and mentor, tasked with overseeing the delivery and support of applications, spearheading new technology projects, and enhancing key applications.

This position is pivotal in driving innovation within their areas of responsibility, utilizing exceptional skills in interpersonal communication, and problem-solving.

What you will do:

  • Leveraging leadership abilities and technical knowledge to oversee, direct, and assist with significant and critical applications on daily basis, while leading internal change efforts to keep pace with technological advancements.
  • Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors, ensuring open and ongoing communication to pre-emptively address any issues with application or support performance.
  • Supporting the continuous operation of applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with operational standards, managing vendor relationships, and meeting business needs.
  • Building business relationship – Meet with business and cross functional teams to understand their priorities, advise them on solutions, and provide a forward-looking plan. Use your knowledge of Application and Development and Support in corporate areas to help business meet their goals
  • Adapting Change – Be an advocate for change and help minimize ambiguity for the teams during the change.
  • Leveraging technology - Become a technology expert. Share your knowledge by introducing team to new enabling technologies and frameworks to better manage the environment and gain measurable efficiencies.

What you will bring:

  • Over 10+ years of experience in creating and Delivering solutions that aligns with business needs.
  • Equally Understand ITSM and SDLC frameworks and related processes
  • Experience of SAP environments and applications like SAC, BTP, HANA and Fiory application development and support
  • In-depth knowledge of Client Server, SAAS, IAAS application development and support
  • Understanding of Development using .net, VB and C# with SQL as a DB in the backend
  • Capable of preparing and validating solution design documents, ensuring scope clarity and adherence to technology standards.
  • Drives the modernization of corporate applications, incorporating DevOps/SRE and cloud technologies
  • Proven leadership in delivering application components for projects across varied applications.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Guides a diverse team of technology development and support professionals.
  • Fosters a collaborative work environment and assists team members in solving organizational, operational, and process challenges.
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Extensive software development experience with robust communication and presentation skills.
  • Overall understanding of IT risk identification and mitigation
  • Leadership in solution delivery, involving multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • Expertise in building and integrating external systems using SOAP/REST API connectors.
  • Involved in the support, stability, and performance of production application systems, including problem resolution and escalation.
  • Deep understanding of Enterprise Delivery Framework, application governance, and controls.
  • Experience with delivering projects involving complex technical infrastructures and critical applications.
  • Continually evolves thinking and methodologies to achieve excellence.

The base salary for this position is between $92,100 - $170,500 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
