Position Overview:
Yukon University is seeking a dedicated professional to supervise our University Bookstore. Reporting to the Director of Hospitality Services, this position is responsible for overseeing a comprehensive business plan that ensures the profitable operation of the bookstore. Key responsibilities include supervising staff and daily operations, marketing, and sales and overseeing inventory. This role also involves providing cashier services for other University divisions as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
Proven supervisory experience, preferably in a retail environment.

Experience in retail, including inventory and point of sales systems.

Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, promotional strategies, display methods, and marketing.

Experience in online retail sales and website catalogue maintenance is considered an asset.

Understanding of basic accounting procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Post-secondary education in Business is an asset.
