Institutional Investment Sales Manager (Defined Contribution)
Location: Western Canada or Toronto (Hybrid)
Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000 base + variable commission (OTE $140K) + RRSP
An established investment firm has created a new opportunity within its Institutional Sales team. This role offers strong exposure to senior leadership and a defined succession path into a VP-level position long term.
The Opportunity Partnering with the VP, Institutional Sales (Defined Contribution), you will play a key role in driving growth across Western Canada and Ontario by: Supporting the development and execution of market penetration strategies Building and managing relationships with plan sponsors and institutional clients Partnering on business development initiatives and territory planning Contributing to portfolio analysis and investment proposal development Conducting competitive research and leveraging data insights to support sales strategy This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in Institutional Sales within a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Institutional Defined Contribution sales Proven track record exceeding targets in a Business Development or similar sales role Demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships within financial services University degree + CSC (required) CFA (completed or actively pursuing) is required
