Contract Worksite Leader 📍 Location: Lloydminster, SK 📅 Duration: August 17, 2026 – August 16, 2027 ⏰ Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week ( Pay Rate: $53.00–$56.00/hour + 4% vacation pay Truck Allowance: Additional $22.00/hour on top of worker rate Safety-Sensitive Position About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Worksite Leader to provide leadership and oversight for routine and major maintenance activities from execution through close-out. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Coordinator, you will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards while supporting operational reliability and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a strong maintenance leader who excels at contractor coordination, safety management, work execution, and stakeholder engagement in an oil and gas environment. Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Lead and coordinate maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with company safety standards. Oversee Safe Control of Work (SCOW) processes, permits, and risk controls. Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions. Conduct Line of Defense (LOD) assurance activities and safety audits. Monitor safety-critical equipment and operational barriers. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support. Work Management Participate in daily planning and notification meetings. Validate contractor work completion and documentation. Close work orders and maintain accurate records in SAP and Salesforce. Review maintenance backlogs and support schedule development. Identify opportunities to improve maintenance execution processes. Scheduling & Execution Monitor maintenance progress and ensure adherence to project timelines. Conduct risk assessments for routine and non-routine work. Act as the primary field contact for contractors and vendors. Coordinate activities to ensure safe, efficient execution. Report on high-impact maintenance activities and emerging risks. Perform hands-on field support when required. Qualifications Required Minimum 10 years of experience in turnaround, maintenance, construction, or execution within the oil and gas industry. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing maintenance, construction, or complex project execution. Strong knowledge of maintenance work management, turnaround (TAR), construction, and execution processes. Experience with Safe Control of Work (SCOW), Asset Risk Management, and LOD activities. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Preferred Supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience using SAP and Salesforce for work management and reporting. Contractor and stakeholder management experience. Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices.
