About the role

Force Inspection Services is a leading oilfield asset and tubular management and services company to the upstream oil and gas industry. Its core business revolves around drill pipe, drill tools, sucker rods, casing and production tubing, coating services, and tubular products for production and completion. Force’s services include in-plant and mobile inspection, repair, machining, and manufacturing.

Reporting to the Field Manager, the Maintenance Coordinator will conduct preventative maintenance to the company’s fleet and ensure continued productivity at the branch.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular equipment maintenance and clean-up.
  • Installs machinery and equipment according to layout plans, and other drawings in industrial establishment, using hand tools, and power tools.
  • Perform servicing on hydraulic machines.
  • Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools.
  • Assemble and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Assembles machines, and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Conduct additional duties as assigned in accordance to qualifications and knowledge of equipment.
  • Responsible for all Type A Commercial Vehicle Inspections and weekly vehicle inspections.
  • Updates and maintains Geo Track asset control management system for Nisku Operations.
  • Responsible for all preventative maintenance on equipment, building and tools.
  • Coordinates equipment repairs with 3rd party vendors.
  • Performs routine maintenance as required.
  • Tests repaired equipment for proper performance.
  • Complies with Force Inspection’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High school diploma.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a related position.
  • Knowledge and experience working machines and equipment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience with tools.
  • Physically fit.
  • Be punctual, reliable, and willing to work flexible hours.
  • Required to work safely, within standard policies and procedures.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting.
