What You Will Be Doing
- Assist the construction team with the preparation of RFIs, design submittals and log of the latest project documents
- Evaluate the project design for adherence to engineering principles, company standards, client contract requirements, and related specifications
- Deliver status reports on project milestones and revisions to the schedule
- Demonstrate skills in Project Management to manage contracts, change orders, and invoices, and additionally monitor the weekly schedule and cost of on-site activities
- Documents modifications to the project timeline and their implications (e.g., contract impact)
- Communicate with clients and subcontractors to deliver status reports and ensure that project objectives are achieved
- Provides status and progress reports to the client, the project team, and management
- Develop and examine purchase specifications and subcontract documents
- Assist with estimating and project management, and provide backup when necessary
- Draft and produce reports, in addition to business correspondence
- Performs any additional duties and responsibilities as given by the supervisor/manager
What We Are Looking For
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or other relevant field
- Minimum 1- 2 years experience working as Project Coordinator on heavy Civil/Railing projects
- High-level proficiency with Primavera (P6) and SAP is required
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Comfortable with a flexible work schedule
- Driving license and a willingness to travel to several project sites are both essential
