About the Role

Lifemark Health Group is currently seeking a full-time Intake Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Nova Scotia.

This role is a critical first point of contact for individuals navigating the recovery process following a workplace injury, as well as for employers and case management teams. By ensuring timely, professional coordination of services and workplace-connected interventions, the Intake Coordinator will directly contribute to improved recovery outcomes, sustained employment connections, and enhanced collaboration among care providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance efficiency by streamlining intake and service coordination, reducing delays in care access.
  • Improve outcomes through earlier intervention, supporting sustainable return-to-work and recovery.
  • Support innovation by enabling the successful implementation and evaluation of pilot projects.
  • Strengthen stakeholder experience by ensuring clear, consistent, and professional communication across multiple parties.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, intake coordination, or administrative roles—preferably in healthcare, insurance, or case management settings.
  • Post-secondary education in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (an asset).
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals including clients, care teams, and employers.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Technical proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and database management systems.
  • A self-starter mindset with excellent organizational skills, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is considered a strong asset.
