As an MEP Operations Lead within the Building and Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you play a key role in coordinating mechanical and electrical activities across large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion. Your expertise ensures smooth execution and compliance, while supporting project teams with technical leadership and proactive problem-solving
What you will do

- Serve as the electromechanical reference for the project and provide leadership to the entire project team.

Understand complex electromechanical concepts and demonstrate strong problem solving abilities.

Maintain solid knowledge of contractual obligations and/or participate in defining the client's needs and requirements.

Identify key project issues and risks.

Define the scope of work and deliverables for partners and specialties involved in electromechanics.

Support the project team in preparing and validating construction and commissioning schedules, reviewing technical specialty shop drawings, and assisting with procurement (cost considerations).

Build and maintain positive business relationships with key stakeholders.
This role could be for you if you have
- +5 years of mechanical and electrical experience in the construction industry
- A university degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience
- A proven track record of mechanical and electrical coordination and team collaboration
- Electrical Strong background
