Job Overview The Director, Client Onboarding (Asset Manager Solutions) is responsible for the successful completion of all New Client Onboardings. The role will also provide sales support to the Business Development & Relationship Management Team. The role will manage various Business Analysts and Program Managers assigned to the Onboarding Team. Overall, this position provides alignment regarding priorities, expectations, and timing of services and solutions to our clients.
What You Will Do
- Define the Onboarding methodology
- Ensure direct reports are following defined processes and best practices, and provide input for continual improvement on business analysis methodology, processes and templates
- Own the Onboarding SharePoint site and publish site updates as required
- Own the Onboarding Playbook and ensure that it is kept up-to-date; new tasks and artifacts are added as required
- Provide sales support to the Business Development & Relationship Management Team. This includes attending meetings, calls and providing overviews of the Onboarding process to perspective clients
- Provide estimates and high-level schedules to Finance and the Business Development & Relationship Management Team to assist with pricing and scheduling discussions
- Provide guidance/coaching to Business Analysts and Project Mangers working on Onboarding Projects
- Provide regular reporting to key stakeholders
- Prepare large project initiatives and provide guidance to ensure clear and accurate work structure, estimates, and plans for BA/PM activities
- Provide input into business analysis/project management documentation standards and tools
- Actively assess risks, provide mitigation plan and escalate issues to management
- Ensure high quality artifacts are being created by reviewing BA/PM artifacts and tracking related metrics
- Possess excellent understanding of the Project Management Life Cycle
- Demonstrate superior flexibility in the face of ambiguous situations, shifting demands and challenging work environments
- Expertise in evaluating feasibility or practicality of ideas and options, assess risks and trade-offs, and make informed and timely decisions
- Ability to allocate resources based on project priorities
- Maintain relationships with staffing agencies to facilitate the recruitment of contract Project Managers as required
- Work directly with SS&C onboarding team and establish priorities on behalf of IFDS
- Possess a good understanding of the regulatory bodies governing client product offering and industry’s best practices. For example: CLHIA, National Instrument, Federal/Provincial, FundSERV, IACC and IFIC
- Provide estimates and schedules to the Europe State Street for prospective clients
- Execute People Manager tasks as required
