POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Content Strategist plays a lead role in shaping and executing The Royal’s digital storytelling and online engagement strategies. This includes producing best-in-class multimedia content, managing The Royal’s social media presence, and maintaining and enhancing the organization’s website (WordPress) and intranet. This role works collaboratively across programs and portfolios to deliver digital content that reflects The Royal’s clinical, research, and educational excellence while aligning with brand priorities and strategic goals.
DUTIES:
- Lead and execute The Royal’s social media strategy, creating engaging, responsive, and high-quality content across key platforms to strengthen brand presence and reputation.
- Produce and manage multimedia content (video, photography, and infographics) to enhance storytelling and digital engagement, ensuring best practices in accessibility and UX.
- Maintain and optimize The Royal’s website (WordPress), ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and reflective of organizational priorities.
- Analyze digital metrics and user engagement to continuously improve content strategy and optimize campaigns based on performance insights.
- Collaborate with communications and program leads to ensure alignment between content, messaging, and overall communications strategy
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Diploma in Communications, Digital Media and Marketing or related field.
- Undergraduate degree in Multimedia Journalism, UI/UX Design is preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in related field.
- Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Social Marketing Certification preferred.
- Required knowledge in WordPress, Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, AODA compliance, video editing and social media management tools.
- Preferred knowledge in HTML/CSS, SEO/SEM, Digital storytelling frameworks.
- English level A- is mandatory in oral comprehension, expression, reading and writing. Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.
Salary Range:
36.80 to 45.05 per hour
