About the role

Division: TMBT Electrical Alberta

Trotter & Morton Building Technologies is a multi-service construction company providing electrical, mechanical and metal work for a wide variety of commercial, civil and industrial building projects.

Since 1927, our skilled workforce has brought their high-quality workmanship, experience, and passion to a diverse project portfolio that includes some of Alberta and British Columbia 's most iconic structures.

We are currently looking for Labourers to join our team!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform labour tasks using tools in a safe manner

  • Responsible for all non-trade labour

  • Provide punctual service to the tasks assigned

  • Assist apprentices and journeypersons with general labour tasks

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Solid team player with a positive attitude

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Deadline driven with a strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a face paced environment

  • Ability to work well with the Foreman/woman to ensure that materials are delivered to the workforce in advance of the work

  • Ability to work in a construction site environment

  • Willingness to learn new skills

Required Experience

  • Completion of Grade 12 Diploma or GED

  • Construction labour experience considered an asset
