Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We’re seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our Accounting team at our Richardson Building location in downtown Winnipeg. Reporting to the Controller, this permanent full-time position will provide recent grads with the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills while preparing them for growth and advancement within our finance teams. Richardson International offers support & guidance from a professionally designated Richardson CPA mentor for those interested in pursuing their CPA designation.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing month-end accounting journal entries
  • Reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts
  • Investigating outstanding issues and identifying potential solutions
  • Creating and presenting financial and operational reports to the Manager of Finance
  • Completing special projects as required

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Up to 2 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience working in Microsoft Excel
  • Above-average written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
