HOURLY RATE- $21.43
FULL TIME HOURS
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
This purpose of this role is to maintain snowmaking facilities, deliver a top‑quality skiing product, and perform duties that uphold the safety, visibility, and overall condition of our ski hills to provide guests and staff with a safe, hazard‑free, and exceptional mountain experience.
- Operates light and heavy utility vehicles including tractors, side‑by‑sides, snowmobiles, pickup trucks, and mini excavators to accomplish daily tasks.
- Performs maintenance on snowmaking and trail maintenance equipment.
- Installs and maintains snowmaking equipment and infrastructure.
- Adjusts snowmaking operations, gun settings and direction based on weather and responds to changes.
- Installs, positions and maintains protective post padding, signage, ribbons and fencing.
- Trims and removes fallen trees or other hazardous items from trails and waterways using chainsaws and other equipment.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Over 18 with a valid Class “G” Drivers License in good standing required

Enjoys working outdoors and able to work in inclement weather conditions
-
Physically fit, able to lift and carry heavy materials and to perform repetitive tasks involving bending, stretching, walking and kneeling.

Must be able to operate a range of equipment from simple handheld tools to power tools

Experience in utility vehicle operation an asset (internal training provided)

Must participate in chainsaw safety training; this training is provided to successful candidates.
