Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to complement the current sales team in a dynamic and stimulating environment.
The Senior Solutions Specialist – Professional Services is responsible for driving sales of Bell professional services offerings. This role requires a consultative approach to uncover client needs, build trusted relationships with, and deliver tailored solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify both new and recurring business opportunities within an existing and assigned customer base for both Staff augmentation and solution focused statement of work engagements
- Develop strategies and tactics with sales team to expand in existing accounts.
- Develop and present proposals including cost justification, business case and merits of the proposal for integrated solutions which represent high value for the Customer and profit for the company
- A trusted advisor that collaborates with customers to find operation efficiency and customer satisfaction, able to help them through their digital transformation journey.
- Engage with business customers to understand issues, challenges, and business drivers and find areas where Bell Business Markets can add the most value
- Collaborate with Internal stakeholders and partners to qualify and position the strongest resources for customer mandates. Review grids and resumes being proposed to ensure they are compliant and meet customer requirements.
- Maintain relationships with resources on mandate to monitor progress and identify new opportunities
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting for professional services opportunities.
Critical Qualifications
- University degree or relevant experience
- 10+ years Experience selling Professional services, across a broad range of scopes and mandates
- Demonstrated experience navigating public sector procurement processes, including responding to RFPs/RFIs and ensuring compliance with government standards.
- Establish and nurture long-term client relationships, positioning Bell as a trusted advisor for ongoing and future professional services needs.
- Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Experience with CRM and sales automation tools and office productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc…)
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Consultative solution selling experience (prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, closing)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Secret level 2 government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SOW creation and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of industry trends in consulting, IT services, or relevant domains.
- Experience with Professional services in the areas of workload transformation, cloud adoption (IaaS & SaaS), digital transformation and application modernisation
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
