Qualifications:
Education: Post Secondary education or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- A working background in the plastics industry is an asset
- Good understanding of manufacturing systems as they relate to quality.
- Self-starter and able to work in an extremely fast-paced team environment.
- Able to make sound decisions and judgement calls relative to customer specifications.
- Good working knowledge of plastic extrusion process is an asset.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of basic MS office software; excel, word, outlook
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process inspections.
- Perform first-off verification.
- Collect test samples as required.
- Perform product testings as required.
- Weigh and record part weights daily.
- Issue NCR and place hold tags on identified nonconforming products.
- Perform receiving inspections as required
- Perform Dock Audits as required
- Maintain QA laboratory and testing areas
- Perform other duties as required.
Employee Relations:
- Communicate with administrative, plant and supervisory staff as required.
- Perform compulsory overtime as necessary and in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Comply with company Rules of Personal Conduct.
- Provide and/or participate in training, as required.
- Comply with company rules, regulations and policies.
