Sinai Health is looking for a Sonographer to support our Mount Sinai Fertility Clinic**.**
About Mount Sinai Fertility:
Mount Sinai Fertility is committed to making the best options available to patients seeking to create families and preserve their fertility while supporting their overall health and well-being. We are an ambulatory unit, open 7 days a week with 2 satellite locations in the Greater Toronto Area. Our average annual number of treatment cycles is 3,400. As a teaching hospital, we help train the next generation of fertility professionals. We offer a wide range of fertility treatments including: Cycle Monitoring, Timed Intercourse, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Pre-Implantation Genetic Testing (PGT), Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET), Medically Indicated Fertility Preservation, Egg Freezing and Sperm Banking.
In this role you will:
- Perform transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound procedures for fertility patients including early obstetric ultrasounds, sonohystograms, follicular measurements, antral follicle counts, baseline uterine cavity assessments and provides assistance during embryo transfers
- Participate in teaching, educational, research, safety and quality improvement programs/activities
- Perform other related patient care responsibilities to facilitate the provision of optimal patient care
- Operate, troubleshoot and ensure ultrasound, medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare reports required to document all procedures and test results
- Observe and understand policies and procedures of MSF and Sinai Health System and adheres to the mission and value statements
- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required

Successful completion of an accredited degree/post diploma Ultrasound program, or recognized equivalent preferred
- Consideration for hire may also be given to applicants currently enrolled in an accredited degree/post diploma Ultrasound program – as a condition of hire the Ultrasound program must be successfully completed within six (6) months of hire

Successful completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification

Registered with Sonography Canada with Canadian Registered Generalist Sonographer (CRGS) designation
-
Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) and Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB) and Abdomen (AB)
-
Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
-
1 year of experience in fertility imaging (i.e. follicular monitoring)
Preferred
Have maintained clinical skills as required by the position
