About Case Coordinator

The Case Coordinator plays an integral role in the smooth and efficient management of the referral process, providing essential administrative and logistical support to the case coordination team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is committed to delivering high-quality support within a collaborative team setting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible and accountable for reviewing the specifics of potential referrals to ensure we can accept them for medical evaluation
  • Screening for conflict of interest and advising the appropriate parties when this arises
  • Scheduling the service(s) with our roster of medical and paramedical assessors
  • Booking secondary service providers when necessary (e.g. transportation, interpretation).
  • Creating notifications consistent with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Producing the relevant directives for the assessor(s)
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Data entry and data accuracy
  • Customer service
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

  • Require familiarity of the Statutory Accident Benefit Schedule (SABS).
  • French-English bilingualism (speaking, writing, etc.) required
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong attention to detail and firm grasp of systems
  • Mature and strong work ethic
  • Computer efficiency (MS Office, Outlook, Internet, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Competent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills
