Salary Scale:
$24.80 to $26.98 hourly rate

NATURE OF THE WORK
The secretary is responsible for assisting one or more people in carrying out secretarial tasks. In addition, as the secretary you will be required to:
- Enter texts and various data into a computer from manuscripts or various sources and produce letters, tables, reports and other documents; open and distribute the mail; draft acknowledgements of receipt and find and collect information to be included on forms that you fill out or in reports and correspondence;
- Receive and transfer telephone calls and provide general information; update records and registers and file records and documents;
- Support the reservation of rooms for meetings and sometimes support these meetings by setting up the space and procuring refreshments;
- Compile, verify and enter data, and also support data entry teams;
- Use a computer and the necessary software to perform your duties related to word processing, database entry, spreadsheets and in-house programs.
- Within the Business Services team, perfome a variety of administrative tasks related to the preparation and deployment of training projects in companies.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in a specialty appropriate for the class of employment, a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority;

Have the ability to work effectively in English;

Have an excellent proficiency in spoken and written French, with strong professional communication skills.

Have an excellent knowledge of WORD and EXCEL. As a result, we require applicants to pass a test in WORD and EXCEL with a passing grade of 60% before considering their application;

Be competent using the Microsoft suite of applications;
-
Have three years of experience in customer service would be an asset, as the person will be in daily contact with clients and suppliers.
