About the team you are joining

You will report to the Senior Manager, Settlement Operations and will work closely with a highly diversified and inclusive team.

What your day would be like

Prepare and execute bank orders for collection and settlement of Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) and Cargo Accounts Settlement System (CASS) funds according to the scheduled calendars and in alignment with IATA financial policies;
Perform accounting activities such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation tasks. Monitor bank statements for discrepancies, resolve issues, and prepare action plans based on exception reports.
Prepare and review external reporting for customers and assist with internal reporting for IATA management.
Contribute to the preparation and updating of Settlement Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and country-specific requirements.
Work closely with the Customer Service department to address any customer inquiries related to settlement operations and payment processes.

We would love to hear from you if you have

A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
2-3 years of experience in banking, payment transactions, accounting, or finance-related roles.
Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly for finance and accounting functions.
Proficiency in Excel and other financial management tools.
Familiarity with foreign exchange (FX) and related financial practices.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of Spanish is preferred
Relevant Aviation Industry Experience (Airlines, Travel Agencies, etc.) is a plus;
Strong learning agility, with a continuous drive to improve and streamline processes.
