JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis. This role provides financial and accounting expertise and support to the Finance team at Crown Lift Trucks, influencing decision-making processes and assuming key responsibilities for the analysis of financial issues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact with other internal departments to ensure seamless flow of financial information on a timely basis to Finance
- Prepare Corporate periodic journal entries and perform account analysis
- Develop and improve periodic management and financial reports
- Provide financial planning and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Assist in the review of internal controls
- Support and coordinate implementation of Corporate Finance initiatives
- Provide analytical support to business partners that will drive key decision making through vigorous analytics by presenting past and projected financial implications
- Provide coaching to junior members on the Finance team and support other business partners as a subject matter expert on finance related issues
- Develop a deep understanding of Retail major performance drivers and assist business decision makers in the development of action plans to meet financial goals and mitigate risks
- Develop insightful, value-added analysis and are not afraid of challenging assumptions that will help drive financial results through fact-based decision making
- Assists with the year-end audit process.
- Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or similar
-
In progress or obtained with CPA
-
3+ years of working experience in progressive finance, financial analysis or reporting experience
-
Hyperion, SAP or large financial planning software knowledge is a plus
SKILLS

Advanced knowledge in the use of Excel, including complex formulas and modeling techniques
-
Technically savvy individual, with demonstrated ability to learn new systems and leverage system capabilities

A proactive self-starter capable of taking initiative and keeping commitments
-
A team player with strong written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across functions and all levels of the organization including non-finance personnel and executive level

Comfortable with shifting priorities, managing ambiguity and new challenges
