About the role

What makes this role important at Ipsos?

Reporting into the Operations Manager, a Field Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of their various projects. They responsible for the completion of field work once a project has been launched to field. Working within the Canadian Mystery Shopping Operations team, the role involves ensuring all projects are delivered on time, in full, and error-free while supporting the mystery shopping panelists.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Manage the Field Coordinators/Independent Contractors assigned to your projects.
  • Setup and launch projects, taking ownership after the handoff from Client Success (CS).
  • Communicates with CS regularly on project status. This includes preparing regular field updates and leading regular field status meetings.
  • Plan, prepare, and engage in recruitment initiatives to find and develop the panelists needed for successful completion of projects.
  • Support new and existing panelists.
  • Steps in and looks after time-sensitive Field Coordinator/Independent Contractors tasks in the event one is not available.

This might be the job for you if you have:

  • 1 year experience in an Operations role, preferably market research.
  • Previous experience working with SMX or SASSIE platforms an asset.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. French fluency an asset.
  • Strong time management skills with ability to be flexible to meet firm client deadlines while balancing other priorities.
  • Strong detail orientation.
