Position Description As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead our engineering team in driving process improvements, scaling production, and implementing advanced manufacturing technologies in our fast-growing chiller manufacturing plant. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that improve efficiency, cost, and quality while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing and process engineers.
- Lead complex process improvement projects to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement long-term manufacturing strategies, including automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, quality, production, supply chain) to launch new products and processes efficiently.
- Drive Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across the plant to improve overall operational performance.
- Manage capital investment projects, including equipment selection, implementation, and validation.
- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Maintain and monitor KPIs to track productivity, quality, and engineering performance.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in an industrial or HVAC-related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with manufacturing simulation and CAD tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.
- Proven track record of leading Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment.
