Job Summary: Our organization is seeking a Certified Red Seal Electrician with FSR endorsement to support ongoing and upcoming projects in Kelowna, BC. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, professionalism, and demonstrated experience in structured data cabling and termination. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installations and maintenance in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. This position also requires proficiency in low-voltage and data systems, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00 pm (subject to change of business needs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with the BC Electrical Code.
- Fulfill responsibilities associated with Field Safety Representative (FSR) designation as required.
- Install, terminate, test, and certify structured data cabling systems (e.g., Cat5e, Cat6; fiber considered an asset).
- Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, clients, inspectors, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold a professional job-site environment.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Red Seal Electrician Certification.
- Valid FSR endorsement (or eligibility to maintain endorsement).
- Demonstrated experience in data cabling installation and termination.
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
- Valid BC driver’s license.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Criminal Record Check mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Fiber optic termination and testing experience.
- Exposure to low-voltage systems including security, access control, or audiovisual systems.
