Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client in the broader public sector is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a short-term assignment.

This is a hands-on role responsible for processing all accounts payable transactions, preparing invoice batches, and ensuring accurate coding with proper documentation. In this role, you will communicate with stakeholders and employees to resolve payment queries and prepare financial reports as needed. You will also identify discrepancies, maintain secure filing systems, and ensure confidentiality of all financial documents.

Qualifications

  • You have a minimum of 3 years in similar role with full accounts payable cycle experience or related education knowledge;
  • You have strong technical skills with an extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Excel;
  • You have exceptional attention to detail, and accuracy skills;
  • You have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a professional manner;
  • You have exceptional problem solving, time management and analytical skills.
