ARE YOU OUR HIDDEN GEM?
Under the general direction of the Director of merchandising, Watches the Merchandising Coordinator supports day-to-day merchandising operations by managing product setup, order processing, and vendor coordination. This role ensures accurate execution of inventory flow and supports the Buyer/Director in driving efficient merchandising processes.
Also, this role maintains strong vendor relationships in an effective, efficient, and professional manner with all internal and external key partners. He/she will work closely with the buying and planning team in a dynamic and fast past environment.
In Addition, the Merchandising Coordinator will be expected to…
Create and maintain purchase orders (POs)
UPC creation for new and existing products Maintain and upload UPC product images onto Z drive Ensure product data integrity across merchandising systems Support Special Orders Support replenishment activities to maintain appropriate stock levels Assist in monitoring product availability and inventory flow Follow up on vendor orders to ensure timely deliveries and resolve discrepancies Support ongoing communication with vendors regarding order status and product availability Assist in maintaining strong working relationships with brand partners Ensure adherence to merchandising processes and timelines Support process coordination to maintain efficiency and accuracy in operations Support the Buyer/Director on merchandising initiatives and projects Assist with cross-functional coordination as needed (Planning, Operations, etc.)
Our ideal candidate has…
University Degree in any related field
No previous experience in a similar role is needed Strong understanding or experience in retail or fashion environment MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point) AS400 and MS Dynamics (asset) Being able to work in a fast-paced environment Highly analytical and detail-oriented Solid organizational and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships Bilingual (French & English ; oral and written)
- Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec
