MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Commercial Analytics Intern – Biopharma supports the Business Insights Manager and Product Manager in delivering data-driven insights, launch readiness coordination, and marketing execution support across Canada and Partner Markets (APAC/LATAM).
- This role contributes to business intelligence reporting, KPI tracking, launch documentation, and market analytics to support strategic growth, operational efficiency, and effective commercialization initiatives.
- The incumbent assists in transforming complex market and performance data into actionable insights, while also supporting tactical marketing coordination, documentation governance, and cross-functional alignment.
Business Insights & Analytics Support
- Supports the gathering, validation, and analysis of sales, market, and operational data to generate actionable insights.
- Assists in managing weekly and monthly KPI reporting processes, including dashboard updates and executive summary slide preparation.
- Builds and maintains structured Excel trackers and Power BI dashboards to monitor performance, launch metrics, pricing trends, and demand planning inputs.
- Supports forecasting, rebate analysis, and business case development activities as required.
- Conducts market and competitive trend analysis, synthesizing findings into concise insight briefs for senior leadership.
- Assists in maintaining data integrity, accuracy, and version control across reporting tools.
- Contributes to preparation of global reporting inputs and cross-functional business review materials.
Marketing & Launch Execution Support
- Supports development and updating of cross-functional launch maps and launch trackers.
- Assists in evaluating marketing tactics and programs by analyzing ROI and performance metrics.
- Coordinates inputs required for marketing materials, event planning, conference tracking, and commercial sponsorship documentation.
- Supports documentation of stakeholder education initiatives and congress participation tracking.
- Assists in simplifying processes and creating structured templates to improve adoption across diverse teams.
- Helps track marketing budget allocations and spending reconciliation under supervision.
- Supports preparation of tactical execution materials and internal communication briefs.
Partnered Markets & Knowledge Management Support
- Aggregates and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data from Partner Markets (LATAM/APAC).
- Creates and maintains standardized country dossier templates (market landscape, regulatory milestones, demand drivers, competitive positioning).
- Documents partner market requirements to evaluate tenders and support execution planning.
- Maintains shared trackers, collaboration frameworks (e.g., RASCI), and version-controlled repositories.
- Circulates structured weekly or monthly insight packs for leadership visibility.
- Coordinates with Global BU Biosimilars, Medical, Finance, and Commercial teams to validate assumptions and collect inputs.
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools preferred.
- Strong PowerPoint skills with ability to create executive-ready materials.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Business-level Spanish proficiency is an asset.
