Title: Manager, Governance
Salary: $99,899 - $117,528 - $135,158 per year (pay range explained below per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: FNHA's Northern Region of B.C. A flexible work model (Hybrid/Remote) may be an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy.
About The Role The Manager, Governance leads strategic relationships with Northern Region First Nations leaders on behalf of the FNHA. This role oversees regional governance engagement, issues management, and communication, ensuring community direction is reflected in FNHA planning and operations. The position manages all governance events and gatherings, guides conflict mitigation, provides expert policy and procedural direction, and supports senior leadership with regional insights. The Manager also builds strong partnerships with community and health system leaders, manages a governance team and budget, and ensures effective follow-up and implementation of governance priorities.
About You To be successful in this role you will have/be –
Education & Experience
- A Degree in Public Policy, Global Affairs, Business, Administration or a related field.
- Two to five (2-5) years of related management experience, including leadership skills and abilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in working with First Nations in the Northern Region of British Columbia.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
