Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Accountant.
This is a full-time, on-site position reporting directly to the CFO, with close collaboration across departments including project management, property management, and operations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in financial reporting and corporate tax compliance, with the ability to optimize tax positions and contribute to the group's strategic growth.

Our client is a fast-growing organization comprised of more than a dozen companies in real estate development, property management, construction, and holding entities.
Description
- Manage full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping; review transactions and collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual HST returns; handle CRA inquiries, reviews, and audits.
- Record adjusting entries, reconcile intercompany transactions, and implement strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP for various reporting requirements.
- Prepare and file T2 corporate tax returns for the group of companies.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support management decision-making.
- Assist with other accounting and tax-related projects as required.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA designation (required).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting; experience in real estate development and/or property management is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Taxprep; experience with Yardi is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical, proactive, and results-driven mindset; eager and willing to learn.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin (required).
