Role Purpose/ Summary:

The purpose of the Brand Ambassador is to promote Decibel Cannabis Company’s brands across the country by hosting events inside and outside of Retail Cannabis Stores to educate key decision makers, retail partners, and the end consumer on all Decibel Cannabis Company’s brands and products. This person has a genuine love and passion for everything Cannabis and has a deep passion for inspiring and educating about cannabis regardless of where they are on their cannabis journey. They should be creative, energetic and outgoing and someone who likes to be out in the world meeting, connecting, and educating others.

Key responsibilities:

  • Pop-up Events and Retail Activation: Lead and execute in-store pop-up events with retail partners to boost brand engagement, educate customers, and drive product sales in partnership with the local Territory Manager.
  • Ensure all activations are on-brand and aligned with overall marketing and sales goals.
  • Collaborate with retail staff to enhance customer experience during pop-ups and events. Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.
  • Product Merchandising and Display Updates: Implement merchandising updates in collaboration with the sales team, marketing and retail partners, ensuring that products are prominently displayed and visually appealing.
  • Regularly audit in-store displays to ensure they reflect the latest brand promotions and seasonal campaigns.
  • Optimize product placement for maximum visibility and sales potential. Oversee the installation and updates of in-store digital displays to ensure brand messaging is current, engaging, and visible to all customers.
  • Work closely with retail partners to ensure digital content is refreshed in line with product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns
  • Social Media Management: Work with Territory Managers and retail partners to proactively provide retailers with social media content provided by Marketing to be used before, during and after retail activations.
  • This role works in tandem with marketing and sales to make sure we are hitting all objectives from a marketing, sales, and branding perspective.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Minimum of 6-months cannabis experience
  • Current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of Health Canada, Provincial Regulatory boards and company policies in the areas they operate in.
  • Must have relevant provincial certification
  • Must be of legal age or older, in the province they work in and be able to pass an extensive background check

  • Ability to work within a team and on an individual basis
  • Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business (including evenings and weekends)
  • Commitment to arrive for scheduled shifts on time and maintain consistent attendance
  • Must have own vehicle, be able to travel, some overnight stays may be required.
