About the role
Role: M&A Paralegal (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $40 - $70/hour
Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Corporate M&A Paralegal to support mergers and acquisitions transactions. The role involves assisting with due diligence, document preparation, and compliance tasks related to corporate transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize transactional documents, including merger agreements, asset purchase agreements, and ancillary documents.
- Conduct due diligence reviews of corporate records, contracts, and legal filings.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing closing checklists, transaction memoranda, and other transaction-related materials.
- Coordinate with legal teams, corporate counsel, and external advisors on transactional matters.
- Maintain and update corporate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience drafting and reviewing corporate transaction documents.
- Proficiency in legal document management and compliance tracking.
- Familiarity with due diligence processes in mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple transactional deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
