About the role

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations for an immediate opportunity in Winnipeg. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, preparing, and shipping materials while ensuring accurate inventory records and efficient material flow. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy, damage, or discrepancies Pick, stage, and prepare materials for customer shipments Ensure materials are properly labeled, organized, stored, and secured Assist with preparing and loading shipments, including containers when required Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Follow all company safety policies and procedures Work collaboratively with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Minimum 6 months of forklift operating experience required Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day Reliable, safety-conscious, and dependable
