Highway: International Company Driver (Reefer) – Laidlaw Carriers Van
Location: Blenheim, ON
Job Type: Full-time - AZ Driver - Cross-Border (Canada/USA)
About the Role
Laidlaw Carriers Van is seeking experienced AZ Highway Company Drivers based in Blenheim, Ontario. You will haul reefer freight throughout Canada and the United States. This is not a Monday–Friday position. Our operations run 24/7, and drivers are typically on the road 4–5 days at a time before returning home for resets.
We are looking for professional drivers committed to safety, reliability, and strong communication.
Responsibilities
- Haul temperature-controlled freight between Canada and the U.S.
- Follow all safety, compliance, and cross-border regulations
- Complete dispatch-assigned work efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
Requirements
- Valid AZ licence
- Minimum 2 years of verified Canada/USA driving experience
- Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract
- Clean criminal record check (required for cross-border travel)
- Must be willing and able to travel into the United States regularly
- Comfortable being out in the truck 4–5 consecutive days per week
- FAST Card required (or ability to obtain)
- TWIC Card preferred

Laidlaw Carriers Bulk GP is a leader in the transportation of bulk materials in dump trailers, b-trains, walking floor and tipper trailers. Transportation of bulk materials include salt, alloys, lime, coal, soils, and waste products. We offer transportation across North America, with our main service corridors in Ontario, Quebec and the United States. We pride ourselves with clean, safe, dedicated equipment for both our customers and our drivers. We service our customers with tandem, 2 to 7 axle equipment, pony-pup and B Trains.
Our Ontario Terminals are located in Woodstock, London, Hamilton, Norwood, Kemptville and Moose Creek, Our Quebec Terminals are located in Chicoutimi, Beloeil and our warehouse in Vaudreuil Our US offices are located in Frankenmuth MI, Findlay OH and Belleville IL (St Louis).
