Job Description

Staff Housing Attendant

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, an exceptional guest experience begins with an exceptional colleague experience. As a Staff Housing Attendant you will be responsible for ensuring our colleague accommodations are maintained on a daily basis and ready for when colleagues move in.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Starting Rate of Pay: $21.85 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $30.05.

Job Duties Include:

  • Act as a live-in and on-site ambassador of Colleague Housing.
  • Assisting the Housing team in dealing with Housing situations, such as roommates, noise, security and inspections.
  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining (ie. Vacuuming, dusting, shoveling, sweeping, restocking, etc.) and inspecting interiors and exteriors of buildings on a daily basis and monthly basis as assigned.
  • Assisting with maintenance requests.

Qualifications

  • Valid BC Driver's License is required.
  • Previous administrative and cash handling skills are required.
  • Good computer skills are required (ie. Word, Excel, Outlook).

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
  • Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps.
