- Schedule: Weekends only - 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00

Responsibilities for CBSA Security Guard
- Ensure the safety and security of individuals, property, and assets within the CBSA airport facility
- Escort detainees within the premises using restraints when required
- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and composure when interacting with individuals under stress
- Observe, monitor, and report detainee behaviour and safety concerns
- Conduct regular indoor and outdoor foot patrols
- Perform frequent wellness and safety checks
- Operate security systems, software, and equipment effectively
- Respond promptly to emergency situations using tactical communication and de-escalation techniques
- Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Advanced Security Training (AST) – considered an asset
- Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident with a minimum of 5 years residency in Canada
- High school diploma or equivalent (proof required)
- Ability to successfully obtain Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a tactical security role
- Strong ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
