The BI Analyst & Report Developer is responsible for implementing data analytics solutions, including designing and developing dashboard, reports and other BI products using the corporate Qlik Sense solution. The incumbent will be experienced in the areas of data visualization techniques, data modelling, advanced statistical analysis techniques and business requirements gathering.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Build operational, tactical and strategic dashboards, reports and other analytical solutions to help business users gain better insights and improve their decisions and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide production support, including working with users to identify issues and to ensure user satisfaction.
  • Act as the subject matter expert in best practice data visualization methods.
  • Ensure full up-to-date documentation is maintained.
  • Ensure all analytics solutions are fully tested, documented and reflect accurate data for timely and optimized reporting of corporate information.
  • Create close working relationship with data engineering team and various business units to identify business problems, gather requirements and develop analytics solutions.
  • Adhere to all applicable privacy regulations.
  • We are a flexible and proactive team, readily taking on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex BI solutions.
  • Proficient in SQL for querying databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Skilled in creating effective dashboards and reports using data visualization best practices.
  • Experience with QlikView/Qlik Sense, including UI design and advanced expressions (Set Analysis) is an asset.
  • Familiar with project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Client-focused, adaptable, and effective in both independent and collaborative settings.
  • Committed to ethical practices, integrity, and delivering solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
