DESCRIPTION

Role
The Senior Page helps maintain an organized and accessible collection by accurately processing and shelving materials. This includes physically managing, organizing, and shelving library materials according to standard library systems. This unionized role also supports the daily operations of the library by preparing rooms for programs and meetings, and ensuring public spaces are well-organized. The Senior Page has an active role within the branch that fosters and maintains a positive working relationship with the Branch Supervisor, library staff, and the public.

Education and Experience
Our ideal candidate must have:

  • High school diploma;

  • Three months of employment or volunteer experience providing customer service.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
