About the role
Sixense Solutions Canada Ltd. ("Sixense") is seeking a Junior QA Engineer to assist with developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. (3-Month Contract)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
- Collaborate closely with our team to understand requirements.
- Maintain and improve the automated test framework to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Analyze test results, and report bugs
- Document test processes, procedures, and results.

Pay Range: $26.44-31.25 per hour
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in QA or software testing automation (internships or College/University projects welcome).
- Basic understanding of automated testing tools, preferably Playwright.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with T-SQL for queries and data manipulation
- Experience with Mercurial/Git
