JOB TITLE:

Recruitment Officer, Job Reference #202509-06

DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Manager of Domestic Recruitment, the Recruitment Officer will:

  • Be responsible for the recruitment of prospective students in line with King’s Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) Plan and the department’s recruitment plan.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the territories they are responsible for, build relationships with high schools and their key stakeholders, develop key insights to better serve those areas, and work to deliver targets for that region.

  • Promote King’s unique positioning to prospective students and other key influencers, at all stages of the enrolment funnel, working closely with any relevant departments to support the work.

  • Stay up-to-date with market intelligence and competitive activity, to identify potential recruitment opportunities within assigned territories.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with high schools, guidance counsellors, principals/ vice principals and department heads within assigned territory(ies).

  • Represent King’s at high school visits, college fairs, and community events.

  • Provide weekly or monthly territory reports, as required, to the Manager of Domestic Recruitment and Director of Recruitment, Marketing and Communications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (unless identified as preferred):

  • The successful candidate will have:
    • A Bachelor’s Degree (preferably from King’s University)
    • A minimum of 2 years previous work experience in a similar role.
    • Experience in marketing, sales or recruitment is preferred.
    • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, including delivering dynamic presentations.
    • Understanding of student recruitment and the factors that influence a students’ decisions.
    • Collaboration skills
    • Territory management skills and funnel management skills and relationship building skills.
    • Analytical skills and experience using CRM to capture prospect data preferred, but not required.
    • A valid G license and ability to rent a car in Ontario is required.

TYPE OF JOB:

Permanent Full Time – 35 hours per week

EFFECTIVE DATE:

As soon as possible

SALARY RANGE:

PSG 12 - $66,475 - $83,236 per annum, dependent on experience.
