Description
Our Client is seeking a Digital Architect to provide lead solution architecture of digital services ensuring user-centered design and an agile software approach.
While this role is primarily remote, all work must be done from within Canada due to network and data security issues during standard MST business hours. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study equivalencies will be considered.

Experience as a software architect, leading the design and delivery of enterprise-scale solutions using modern development stacks in complex organizational environments. (5+ years)

Experience with containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code practices for cloud or hybrid environments. (5+ years)
-
Experience working with teams that also apply UX design, service design, design thinking, or human-centered design approaches. (4+ years)

Proven ability to define and communicate solution architecture for large-scale systems, including integrations, modernization strategies, and cloud-native design patterns. (5+ years)

Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making. (4+ years)
Nice To Have Skills

Experience and technical knowledge of the Microsoft .NET Framework. (5+ years)

Experience applying secure development practices and managing identity and access using role-based or attribute-based access control and Zero Trust Architecture principle. (4+ years)

Experience designing and managing APIs, including RESTful services and system integrations. (5+ years)

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, deployment, and observability. (4+ years)

Experience incrementally transforming existing legacy systems into modern digital services across multiple releases. (6+ years)

Experience with Information Technology/Information Management policies, standards and guidelines. (2+ years)

Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases, including schema design and performance optimization. (4+ years)

Experience working within public sector digital service frameworks or enterprise architecture standards. (3+ years)
