Description

  • Lead and oversee all international accounting activities across multiple country offices.
  • Ensure accurate consolidation of overseas offices and the integrity of global financial records.
  • Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and adherence to accounting standards (including SORP/IFRS equivalent frameworks in the nonprofit sector).
  • Supervise and indirectly guide finance teams in various international locations.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts, and analytical reports for senior leadership.
  • Oversee cash flow, treasury management, foreign exchange processes, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely month-end closings, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and audit preparation.
  • Support budgeting processes, donor-funded project compliance, and international financial policies.
  • Partner with internal audit and global finance managers to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices.
  • Contribute to systems optimisation, workflow improvements, and ongoing finance transformation initiatives.

Profile

  • Qualified accounting professional (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in international finance or multi‑entity environments.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and excellent analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex financial operations across multiple countries.
  • Experience in the nonprofit or humanitarian sector is an asset.
  • Collaborative, detail‑oriented and adaptable.
  • Comfortable working with multicultural teams and diverse stakeholders.
