Job Title: Transfer Processing Analyst#1011924
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 5 months contract (with possibility of extension/conversion)
Summary of the Role
The successful candidate will perform individual-based work by managing an assigned list of transfer requests. The role is responsible for reviewing and verifying transfer documentation to ensure accuracy, identifying discrepancies or missing information, communicating clearly with internal partners, and providing detailed explanations to support timely resolution. The position provides a broad range of operational support and performs general to specialized transaction processing activities within Operations & Technology. The successful candidate will support partner relationships and maintain operational effectiveness to ensure business objectives, Service Level Goals (SLGs), and Customer Experience Index (CEI) targets are achieved. This position reports to a Team Manager within the team structure.
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work independently on an assigned list of transfer requests.
- Review and verify transfer documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, and documentation deficiencies.
- Communicate with internal partners and provide detailed explanations to facilitate timely resolution.
- Perform general to specialized operational support and transaction processing activities.
- Maintain operational effectiveness while supporting business objectives, Service Level Goals (SLGs), and Customer Experience Index (CEI) targets.
Customer Responsibilities
- Positively contribute to the overall customer experience and customer loyalty index in every interaction.
- Ensure customer issues are handled appropriately by utilizing the established partner problem resolution process internally and externally, escalating when required.
- Create and recognize exceptional customer service through established programs.
- Ensure all required processing and inquiries are completed while meeting Service Level Goals.
- Provide subject matter expertise to internal and external partners within the defined area.
Shareholder Responsibilities
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established standards.
- Actively participate in daily touchpoints and work distribution.
- Contribute to successful audits by understanding and following audit and process guidelines.
- Identify areas of risk and escalate as necessary.
- Understand and comply with Bank Codes of Conduct.
- Identify, suggest, and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Understand and apply bank and service centre operating policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to changes within the business area and unit.
- Adopt new processes and technology improvements.
- Ensure appropriate due diligence is exercised to support the accuracy of all transactions.
Must-Have Skills
- 2–4 years of banking/financial institution experience.
- Proficiency in MS 365, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Transfer/transaction processing experience.
