Reporting to the Site Supervisor and working as an integral member of the
maintenance team, the Electrical Instrumentation & Control Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance work orders, as well as installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing industrial instrumentation and control equipment.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to health and safety by following our customers' safety rules and procedures.
- Proactively respond to customer needs while delivering exceptional service.
- Complete work efficiently while meeting project schedules and quality standards.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and customer representatives.
- Accurately complete timesheets, service reports and all required documentation.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related technical diploma (AEC or equivalent).
- Relevant experience in industrial instrumentation and control.
- Class C Licence (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
- Written and verbal communication skills in French
- Written and verbal communication skills in English would be considered an asset
WORK CONDITIONS
As our teams support projects at various industrial sites, assignments may vary
depending on operational needs.
Candidates must be willing to work different schedules, including
- Regular daytime schedule, Monday to Friday.
- 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (7/7).
- 14 days on / 14 days off rotation (14/14).
- Fly-in/Fly-out assignments, when required by project needs.
- Travel to customer sites throughout Quebec.
