Role Description
The Welder is responsible for fitting, assembling, and welding AMI Attachments products in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. The Welder ensures all work meets company quality and safety standards while contributing to efficient production flow.
Key Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine welding specifications.

Perform welding operations to assemble products in compliance with engineering and quality standards.

Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and product tolerances, making adjustments as necessary.

Manipulate and move attachments using cranes and other equipment within the welding bay as required.

Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to AMI’s Health & Safety guidelines.

Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and support staff to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of scrap and waste materials properly.

Participate in training, skills development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years welding experience
- Ability to work in a fast-based shop environment
Assets:
- CWB Certification
- Blue print reading
- Experience working with overhead cranes
