Job Summary

The Team
The PDC Pharmacy Team is an established group of approximately 25–30 pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants who collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals such as nurses and physicians. This team plays a vital role in delivering pharmacy services to clients, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and professional support. Applicants will join a dynamic and experienced team dedicated to impactful healthcare delivery.

The Role
This role involves key responsibilities such as filling prescriptions, packing blister packs, managing inventory and returns, and collaborating with nurses and physicians to support patient care. By delivering essential pharmacy services, the position directly contributes to improving the health and quality of life of clients. Candidates can look forward to applying and growing their professional skills in a meaningful healthcare setting.

Qualifications:
Education or Experience:

  • Pharmacy Assistant Certificate or Secondary school graduation with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a pharmacy environment.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Experience with Kroll Pharmacy application or equivalent.

  • Experience applying Health Canada Regulations related to the Food and Drug Act, Goods Manufacturing Practices and Schedule ‘F’ drugs.[MM1.1]

  • Applicants who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit)

This is an As and When position with hours fluctuating each week.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
This is a temporary opportunity until September 30, 2026. This position may be extended or become permanent.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
