Secondary Math & Science Teacher British Columbia Canadian International School (BCCIS West)
BCCIS West, a fully accredited British Columbia Offshore School located in O West, 6th of October City, offers the BC curriculum from PreK–Grade 12 and graduates students with the BC Dogwood Diploma and official BC transcripts. We are seeking a passionate, flexible, and student-centered educator to join our secondary team as a Math and Science teacher for the 2026–27 school year.
Responsibilities:
** Teach secondary Mathematics and Science courses following the BC curriculum
and assessment standards**
Design engaging, inquiry-based lessons that build critical thinking,
creativity, and problem-solving
Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to support diverse
learners
Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment that promotes respect,
collaboration, and student well-being
Communicate regularly and professionally with students, parents, and
colleagues
Contribute to the wider school community through clubs, athletics, events, and
trips
Required qualifications:
** Current BC teaching certificate or eligibility for BC certification in
Secondary Math and/or Science**
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related education field
Strong classroom management skills and experience with outcomes-based
assessment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a
team-oriented environment
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
