Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight and materials across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficient delivery, and adherence to transportation regulations. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued to support operational needs and vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate DZ licensed trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
• Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit to prevent damage or accidents
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver logs, and other required documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
• Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor vehicle problems when necessary
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations

Requirements

• Valid DZ driver?s license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts is preferred
• Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to trucking and freight handling
• Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate heavy equipment, and perform inspections
• Excellent communication skills and reliability in adhering to schedules
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple deliveries efficiently

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
