Position Overview: Compugen is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide strategic architecture leadership across a dynamic environment that includes funding programs, applied research, and revenue-generating services. This role will shape the future of our technology ecosystem—spanning Microsoft Azure, M365, SaaS platforms, data environments, and AI tools—to enable a modern, scalable, and integrated enterprise. Key Responsibilities: Enterprise Architecture & Capability Mapping
- Develop current-state and future-state enterprise architectures (Conceptual, Logical, Physical) aligned with organizational strategies.
- Map business capabilities across funding, research, and revenue functions to supporting systems.
- Identify redundancies, integration gaps, and opportunities for simplification and modernization.
Systems & Platform Analysis
- Assess application and system landscapes across corporate services, research operations, and client-facing processes.
- Recommend rationalization, consolidation, and modernization strategies.
Strategic Technology Alignment
- Ensure architectural recommendations align with Digital & IT Strategy, Data Program, AI Strategy, cloud strategy, and cybersecurity principles.
- Define integration approaches for cloud, SaaS, network, and data-center components to support enterprise capabilities.
Solution & Roadmap Guidance
- Support development of multi-year architecture roadmaps.
- Provide guidance on solution patterns, integrations, and platform alignment (CRM, HRIS, Finance, Contract Management, Data Management & Governance).
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with executives, business units, IT teams, and subsidiaries to validate processes and architectural decisions.
- Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and alignment discussions.
Documentation & Recommendations
- Produce architecture documentation, capability maps, diagrams, and future-state options.
- Contribute to investment planning, sequencing, and prioritization.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, business architecture, systems analysis, and IT strategy within complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of system integrations, data flows, APIs, ETL/ELT, and integration patterns across enterprise platforms.
- Experience identifying system overlaps and optimization opportunities.
- Understanding of networks, data centers, and enterprise components (high-level, not deep technical).
- Proven ability to map business capabilities to systems and support multi-team environments (public sector or research experience is an asset).
- Familiarity with Azure architecture, governance, and integration patterns, plus Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, security/compliance).
- Awareness of data platforms (e.g., Azure Fabric), BI, and data governance practices.
- Knowledge of AI in enterprise settings, including automation, process optimization, LLMs, and agent-based workflows.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including executive communication and workshop facilitation.
