Overview We’re looking for Applied Machine Learning Specialists with deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) , Generative AI , and Agentic AI . This role is ideal for builders—not traditional data scientists—who thrive in designing and deploying production-grade AI systems.
You’ll Work On Cutting-edge Use Cases Such As
- Automating the evaluation of financial statements
- Reading and interpreting unstructured data (documents, images)
- Building intelligent agents and chatbots
- Developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
Location: Toronto, Montreal, London, Ottawa.
Work Mode: Hybrid 4-days/week on-site; 1 day / week - remote
Status: Contract
Responsibilities
- Design and implement LLM-powered agents for enterprise automation
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines using vector databases and embedding models
- Fine-tune LLMs for domain-specific tasks in financial services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into scalable applications
- Explore aspects of model governance, explainability, and ethical AI practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years in applied ML or AI development
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and agentic frameworks
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Strong understanding of unstructured data processing (PDFs, images, scanned docs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with chatbot development and multi-agent orchestration
- Exposure to financial services workflows or compliance automation
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Certifications in cloud AI platforms
- Familiarization with tools and methodologies for LLM evaluation (toxicity, hallucination, factuality)
