About the role
Calgary Co-op Home Health Care has exciting challenging career opportunity, as a result of continuing growth and development. To meet these challenges we are seeking an enthusiastic individual for a Surgical Fitter position. The Surgical Fitters main function is to be responsible in maintaining customer service standards through safe and efficient operation, while upholding confidentiality of sensitive matter and adhering to company policies, procedures and standards. Required to handle the sale of merchandise, inventory control, price integrity and administrative areas. Knowledge and adherence to all government and professional standards and regulations as they apply to the Home Health Care Industry.
Responsibilities :
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relations through the proper handling of customer merchandise, questions, comments, requests, and complaints.
- Effectively works in a diverse team environment in a proficient and friendly manner.
- Assist the supervisor to ensure the department is operating in accordance with company policies, procedures, programs, merchandising standards and overall expectations.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the supervisor regarding recommendations for continued improvement of the fitting department.
- Assist in maintaining a strong, efficient and productive working relationship with approved professionals, business organizations and internal/external company representatives.
- Accurately and efficiently handle the sale of merchandise, inventory control, price integrity and administrative areas not specifically referred to in this document.
- Adhere to all government and professional standards and regulations as they apply to the Home Health Care Industry.
- Responsible for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) including participate in OH&S activities, knowledgeable about and comply with OH&S policies, procedures and legislation, assist in identifying unhealthy, unsafe situations and ensure corrective action is taken.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 Education
- Medical related education or background
- Previous customer service experience Basic computer skills
